In modern society the computers has become essential part of any organization. The objective of the course is to enable a student to acquire the knowledge pertaining to fundamentals of Information Technology . National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, NIELIT, (Erstwhile DOEACC Society) is an autonomous scientific society of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. The Society is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. NIELIT was set up to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT).

Examination Pattern

Examination is conducted module wise after completion of module.

Internal marks: 20 (includes assignments, presentations, practical exam) External marks:80

Total: 100

 Pass Percentage

 To qualify for a pass in a module, a candidate must have obtained at least 50% in each theory and practical examination.

The  marks will be translated  into grades, while communicating  results to the candidates. The gradation structure is as below:-
